In 1969, Jean-Yves Dumaine arrived in North America from Normandy to settle into a new life. A chemistry master, a professor and a world traveler. But above all a Normand. Born and raised in a family steeped in the French culinary tradition, surrounded by the Terroir and its products. This upbringing would ultimately shape his strongest passion, a love for food, hospitality and the people that make it their career. He shared this passion with his closest associate and wife, Catherine. For 25 years now, what they built together as continued to grow.
