Eurodib, founded in 1996 by Jean-Yves Dumaine, has a rich culinary heritage deeply rooted in French traditions. The company’s culinary roots date back to his ancestor Alexandre Dumaine, the renowned chef and owner of the 3-star Michelin restaurant Le Côte D’Or in Saulieu, France, between 1932 and 1964. This culinary heritage was passed down from generation to generation, as the founder’s grandparents and parents owned and operated a bakery, charcuterie, and a butcher’s shop in Normandy from 1945 to 1968.
Immersed in the food production business from an early age, Jean-Yves Dumaine began his career by starting a food import business. He then moved into the distribution of kitchen equipment from Europe, which gave rise to the name “Eurodib”, derived from “European distribution”. Today, Eurodib focuses primarily on sales of commercial foodservice equipment in the USA and Canada, as well as contract manufacturing.
Eurodib maintains long-standing partnerships with leading European manufacturers, such as Lamber dishwashers, Brema ice machines and Cofrimell juice and slush dispensers. In addition, the company offers its own brands, including Atmovac vacuum sealers and Resolute refrigeration, alongside products bearing the Eurodib label. Continuously expanding its portfolio, Eurodib is introducing new product offerings such as the Dito Sama range of food processors and stick blenders.
Since 2019, Eurodib has partnered with Louis Tellier, a French company specializing in the manufacture of small wares, enriching its product range with items such as metal molds, food mills, raclettes and Silikomart silicone molds.
Eurodib serves a diverse clientele, including foodservice equipment dealers in Canada and the United States, and is a trusted supplier to major equipment purchasing groups in both countries. It also supplies products to well-known online vendors specializing in restaurant equipment.
